 Hartford is getting busy and not even in the General Assembly session.

Across the country more nutmeg senior citizens would like to stay at home-not on Saturday night, but from nursing homes and assisted living. It is significant because it has a population of Connecticut's of the oldest in the nation — theseventh. And 65 countries and older population is expected to grow 63 percent from 2006 to 2030.

Like a lot of "aging in place" initiative provides seniors with support services so that they can stay in their own homes. But because the program is not using government funding, they need to be a member to stay open.
